We are pleased to announce that the site Variation Permit, for which we started the application process back in 2018, has now been granted by the Environment Agency. This gives us a vital platform for streamlining and consolidating our existing services and processes at Cottenham, while enabling us to confidently plan for future service and process options.

With the growing restrictions on the exporting of waste, in time this will enable us to recover or re-use more waste material here in the UK. This in turn will support our customers in meeting their environmental objectives, containing costs, and minimising the carbon footprint caused by waste transport.

The nature, demands and controls of waste management continue to evolve and with this important new permit in place we have the ability to respond effectively into the future.
